Kurzbeschreibung: Este es un trabajo de análisis de género y etnográfico sobre el sinhogarismo en Santiago y Berlín. El objetivo es relevar las causas de esta situación y analizar las representaciones y reproducciones de identidades de sexo-género en el sinhogarismo en dos comunas de Santiago de Chile. El fundamento es destacar la heterogeneidad de experiencias en contacto con la ayuda social, el trabajo y la vivienda y abrir la discusión más allá de la población masculina y crónica, los que dominan los servicios y la calle, para enfocarse en el grupo mayoritario transitorio, donde las mujeres son más representadas: los que están en riesgo de llegar al sinhogarismo, los que viven con familiares y amigos o en hogares precarios. Existe un androcentrismo y una invisibilidad femenina que se reproduce en las instituciones de ayuda social del estado, en los mercados laborales y de vivienda y en las investigaciones que es necesario deterner en gran medida a través del trabajo cualitativo y etnográfico. Sólo así podremos analizar cómo se desarrollan y reproducen los roles de sexo-género y diversas formas de violencia estructural y cotidiana relacionadas a formas hegemónicas de vivienda, familia y trabajo en poblaciones que viven en pobreza urbana extrema.
