Description

The research project examines the contribution of LGBTIQ* movements to societal democratization in the 20th century. The transdisciplinary project collaborates with scholars and practitioners from queer archives, theater and performance, history, political science, and theater and dance studies. Planned activities include archival collection development and digitization, transdisciplinary research, oral history collections, and innovative formats such as theater workshops, digital storytelling, and podcasts to counter LGBTIQ*-hostile narratives with historical knowledge.
